ECE was employed to design a community ground-breaking event to celebrate the historic building of the soon to be named, Taubman Museum of Art. We provided all talent, tenting, tables, chairs, sound and all logistical coordination for event.
The event began with a ground-breaking ceremony that included local officials, dignitaries and the Governor of Virginia. Following the ceremonial events, the public was invited to participate in a street festival style event. Art related entertainment was featured including a "community canvas", speed painting demonstrations, living painter statues, walking art and lots of musical entertainment.
